The Digital Painting Process – as completely reinvented by William Low
William’s career as a painter of oils and acrylics on canvas and paper is a long one. Since his days at the New York City High School of Art and Design, he has been known to follow the “Masters” in western painting. This includes his master teachers, Irwin Greenberg and Max Ginsberg at A&D. But through curiosity in all things digital, William has pushed pixels, software and hardware around for the last 9 years. He has come up with a unique way of creating pictures that are sometimes started out on paper and get transformed into digital paintings. No, he does not scan and copy photographs – he paints.
