William Low talks to large groups of children (up to 150/300 students in large auditorium). He can do up to 2 talks per day – both talks being close in content but grade specific. The lower grade talks are geared more towards ELA standards and Character Ed development and even some ESL issues that students face. He often does painting demonstrations.
The upper grades talk will focus on his writing & painting inspirations and “following your dream” with hard work and follow-through. William also discusses college experiences with the upper grades. He uses a slide show but engages the audience with questions.
William will co-ordinate with your author visit rep, Principal or Librarian which grade levels he will be speaking to and give a list of his technical needs for the visit.
